About Akhsam
Akhsam («أخصم», "get it discounted") is an independent directory of promo codes for online stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, in English and Arabic.
We started it because most coupon sites label every code "verified" and leave shoppers to find out at checkout. On Akhsam each code shows the evidence behind it and when it was last checked, and expired codes are moved out of the way with their end date.
We are not owned by any store. Some codes are partner codes that earn us a commission; see how we earn money. Read how we check codes, or contact us about a code that didn't work.
Who keeps the pages up to date
A small editorial team in the Gulf, writing in English and Arabic. The editors check our partner codes against the affiliate network, read each store's delivery, returns and payment pages and note the date, and move codes to the expired list when they stop working. Every change appears in the page's change log and in our public feed, with its date.
What we publish
- A page per store and country, with every code we know of, its confidence label and the store's own delivery and returns facts.
- Comparisons built from the stores' own pages: free delivery and returns in the UAE and in Saudi Arabia, and which stores take Tabby and Tamara.
- A Gulf sale calendar that marks each date confirmed or expected.
- A code checker and open data in JSON and plain text, free to reuse with a link.
What we don't do
We don't link to other coupon sites, buy reviews, or show success rates we didn't measure. We don't accept payment to rank a code higher; partner codes appear first because they are the ones we can confirm with the network, and they are labelled.
